From the orchestrated tangos of Astor Piazzolla, through the popular aria of Carmen by Georges Bizet and other songs from the most famous operettas and operas, to the chansons of Édith Piaf, the audience had the opportunity to enjoy a variety of musical styles and genres, the organizers add.
She performed with the Escualo Quartet, which consists of four outstanding musicians: double bassist György Póta, accordionist Zsolt Deli, violinist Ernő Kállai and guitarist Rezső Kutik.

The ensemble was founded twenty years ago to present and preserve the art of Astor Piazzolla, playing popular pieces of music repertoire worldwide in their own orchestration, the organizers explained.

The ensemble is completed by pianist Miklós Harazdy, a lecturer at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and Erika Miklósa’s permanent accompanist and music coach.

As part of the KotorArt Visiting segment, the same artists will perform tonight in Luštica Bay at 9 p.m.

Due to the development of the epidemic situation, from August 11 the interested audience can attend the events of the International KotorArt Don Branko’s Music Days Festival only upon prior registration.

Applications for the first contingent of available seats can be sent to the e-mail address protokol@kotorart.me indicating the name and surname of the guest.

This summer, the KotorArt International Festival is being held in the period from July 1 to August 14, with a rich and varied program, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Media and the Municipality of Kotor, with the support of the European Union, the Western Balkans Fund, the Open Society Foundation, numerous embassies in Montenegro and other significant partners and sponsors.
