Project title:Perast Passport

Summary

Perast has more than 2000 tourists a day in the summer season, many of them stay in the city for just a few hours. We would like to tap into that potential and bring the city closer to them but also exploit their economic value due to the lack of personalized souvenirs in Perast. The idea is to make a sort of treasure hunt for everyday tourists. At the start of the city border, tourists will buy a small notebook that will serve as a passport for their adventure. In the passport there are faded landmarks that the tourist will have to find to fill their pages and complete the hunt. Each landmark will get a tablet with historical information and a relief so that the person can “print” his seal of the landmark onto the notebook. This way the city of Perast will get a curated history that will enrich its content and tourists will get their “travel” seals into their passports.

The Perast Passport group consists of Kristina, Ana and Jovana, graphic designers who came together to become enthusiasts in the city of Perast. During our summer vacation this year, apart from cooking and swimming, we had time to get to know this city, its history and culture and see its untapped potential. Through our project, we want to enable every visitor to discover everything that Perast has to offer.
