Fool Moon, an internationally recognized pop a cappella group, has been performing for seventeen years. In an appealing and engaging way, they captivate audiences and musicians, and through their atypical television appearances have brought a cappella music into the center of media attention and influenced the formation of a significant number of similar ensembles. The number Kettesben jó, which became a hit on radio stations throughout Hungary, was chosen for the Sherlock Holms Music Movie. The ensemble has released six albums, featuring Hungarian pop hits, French and Italian songs, as well as editions of hits from Sting, Eric Clapton, Paul Simon, Michael Jackson, and George Michael, among others. In 2013, for the Music & Soul album, in cooperation with Niksa Takach, they received the Fonogram Award. The group is a winner and holder of nine international and national awards and prizes, among which are first prizes at the Ward Swingle A Cappella (Graz, 2005), the Taiwan International A Cappella Contest (2006) and the Moscow Spring A Cappella Festival and Contest (2017, 2018) where as many as 180 participants participated. For the performance of the folk song Szerelem, szerelem, the ensemble won the Solevoci International A Cappella (2010) prize for the best arrangement, while the album itself went on to be nominated for the CARA award. The ensemble has collaborated with numerous prestigious artists of the Hungarian music scene.
