Over the years, Goce Stevkovski has gained the reputation of one of the most appreciated North Macedonian drummers and percussionists. After the debut album 7 Stories, he released the compact disc Homage to a Dreamer. He has collaborated with the most famous North Macedonian jazz musicians, such as Sashko Nikolovski (trombone), Kiril Kuzmanov (sax), Kiril Tufekchievski (double bass), Damir Imeri (keyboards), Matias Gayer on piano and Todor Bakrdziev on trumpet. As one of the best jazz ensembles in North Macedonia, the Goce Stevkovski Septet brings a unique creativity and individuality to the scene, both among the audience at home, as well as in Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, and New York. They have performed at jazz festivals in Skopje, Bansko, and at the Baščaršija Nights in Sarajevo. In 2014, Stevkovski debuted as a composer. At KotorArt, they will perform in a form of a quintet.
