The Allegria String Quartet was founded in 2015. Its members are esteemed musicians employed in the Symphony Orchestra of Montenegro: Ana Rašović, first violin, Milena Rajković, second violin, Ilijana Blagojević Zvicer, viola, and Lazar Bubanja, cello. Their repertoire includes works of classical and contemporary music, yet they have also branched out into performing traditional music of the Balkans, for which they were supported by the Fund for the Protection and Exercise of Minority Rights of Montenegro. The Quartet has performed at numerous local and international venues. Last year, the ensemble embarked on a tour across Montenegro, while in 2016 they performed in Greece. They are working on the release of their first album, as well as on numerous themed concerts.
