Zhang Zhou Yaodong started learning the violin at the age of five. He graduated from the Music Middle School Affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and pursued his bachelor’s degree at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore and Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media. He won the Young Artist Prinze at the 3rd Piano Trio Competition organized by the Shanghai Conservatory of Music,
has then performed at major mainland performing venues in China, Singapore, Germany and Finland. This year he has been selected to be a member of the Lucerne Festival Academy 2021. Yaodong is currently engaged in his master’s studies at the Leopold Mozart Music Center under the tutelage of Professor Linus Roth. He has attended masterclasses such as with Pierre Amoyal, Boris Kuschnir, Vadim Gluzman, and Shmuel Ashkenazi. Yaodong plays on a 1899 Paul Francois Blanchard violin on generous loan from the Rin Collection.

Zhang Junjie, piano, started learning the piano at the age of four. She was a student of the Professors Peng Peng and Olga Samosueva, while at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music she studied under Professor Jian Li. In 2015, she engaged in studies at the Universität der Künste Berlin and and obtained her bachelor's degree under Professor Sorin Enachescu. Zhang Junjie has won awards at numerous international competitions, including First Prize and the Audience Award at the 10th Massarosa International Piano Competition and Third Prize at the IV Virtuoso & Belcanto Piano Competition, among others. She is the holder of the Shanghai Scholarship, a DAAD Scholarship in Germany, and a scholarship by the Swiss Clavarte Foundation. She is active on the European and Chinese music scene. Zhang Junjie was invited by the Pomara Scibetta Foundation to perfrom in Italy and Berlin. She obtained her master's degree in Piano and Vocal Coaching.
